DJ Tay James has been making a name for himself since the age of 16 behind the turntables and on the microphone! He has entertained crowds at packed nightclubs in the DMV (DC, MD and VA) and abroad. A 2009 graduate of Hampton University, Tay James used his four years in college to establish himself as one of the best DJs of his generation.
Today, you can find Tay spinning on Washington, DC’s WPGC 95.5FM and on the road along side teen pop sensation, Justin Bieber. As Justin Bieber’s Official DJ, Tay has traveled around the world rocking “sold out” concerts and introducing his talent to miilions of fans. With over 5.3 million YouTube Channel views (YouTube.com/DJTayJames) and over 174,000 followers on his VERIFIED Twitter page (@DJTayJames) he has also proven himself to be a great asset in the world of promotions and branding. He has established endorsement relationships with Rocksmith Clothing, Boomphones, Jimmy Jazz, Diamond Supply Company, Vestax and Ultrasone. Tay James continues to be a favorite DJ for Pop, Hip-Hop and R&B music fans all over the globe he has definitely branded himself as the DJ that teenagers know and love.
Tay has physically distributed over 160,000 mixtapes, throughout the mid-Atlantic region with more than 77 released mixtape titles under his belt. His most recent project was with Hip-Hop Legend Bun B on “We Know Bun B: The Original OG” celebrating over 100,000 digital downloads and counting! He has also worked along side Roc Nation Artist J. Cole to produce the “American Dreamin” mixtape, Hip Hop Trio Travis Porter and Def Jam Recording Artist, Jeremih.
