WeKnowTheDJ.com started as an online publication in 2006 that featured music from A-List musicians and up-and-coming artist. Over the years, WeKnowTheDJ became DJ Tay James’ personal catch phrase and brand. And it didn’t stop there. Now the website has transitioned with a change of focus, a hub for all things DJ, featuring interviews, news, video tutorials and behind the scene footage from DJ Bonics, DJ Mo Beatz, and Tay James. Site visitors get exclusive looks at what it is to be a DJ for some of the biggest artists in the world including the music played, personal fashion favorites, hosted parties, the fans, and how the art of djing remains as a cornerstone of music today.

Not everything has at WeKnowTheDJ.com has changed though, it is still home to the WeKnowTheDJ web series, which features an inside look at sets and residences at nightclubs, radio stations, and life on the road. The series, which started in 2009, is about to launch its ninth season.

WeKnowTheDJ is also home to a new series with AwesomenessTV and a capsule collection and fashion collaboration with Diamond Supply Co appropriately named “Diamond Knows The DJ”. This unique project was designed to create fashion forward clothing and gear for DJs, something no other apparel line has done before. High quality skateboard goods and hardware manufacturer Diamond Supply Co. was the perfect brand to bring this idea to life.
