A Very Decent Christmas: Major Lazer’s ‘Christmas Trees’

December 5, 2016

It’s going to be a very decent Christmas, indeed.

For the fourth year in a row, Mad Decent released an electronic holiday compilation known as A Very Decent Christmas. The most recent compilation, with 10 tracks total, is sure to help listeners dance their way right into the holiday season. Major Lazer, a trio consisting of producers Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, released many smash-hits last year, including “Lean On” and  “Light It Up” and their extremely successful “Cold Water” this year.

The fourth installment includes their song “Christmas Trees.” With reggae artist Protoje as a feature, the song has an interesting Jamaican feel. Sleighbells can be heard throughout, and this Christmasy touch to normal MD content actually works well, especially in the drop.

This year’s Christmas project features content from much more of the MD family, as well, such as Bad Royale, 4B and Nonsens.

Buy “Christmas Trees” on iTunes or stream it on Spotify below.
