Luke Bryan Is Here To Stay

June 22, 2014

Last August, Luke Bryan released his fourth studio album ‘Crash My Party’ and to no one’s surprise, each of the past four singles from album, and the album itself, have all peaked at number 1 on both Billboard’s and iTunes’ charts. The newest music video for the newest single, “Roller Coaster,” was released yesterday, so I suspect that this song will begin rising in the charts as well soon!

I’m not sure if it’s because of his jaw dropping vocals, killer looks, or the way he moves in those tight pants, maybe it’s even a combination of the three, but Luke Bryan definitely puts on one of the best shows you will ever see!

Most of you may not know this, but Luke Bryan began his musical career back in the early 2000’s writing songs for Travis Tritt “(My Honky Tonk History”) and Billy Currington (“Good Directions.”)

Then in 2004, he was finally offered a solo record deal with Capitol Records Nashville.

Since then, Bryan has released four studio albums, along with 6 special edition Spring Break albums-

2007- I’ll Stay Me

2009- Doin My Thing

2011- Tailgates and Tanlines

2013- Crash My Party

Some of Luke’s biggest hits include, “All My Friends Say,” “Do I,” “Rain Is a Good Thing,” “Drunk on You,” “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” “Crash My Part,y” and “Play it Again.”

Bryan scored his first solo performance back in 2011 on the CMT Music Awards where he performed his hit ‘Country Girl (Shake It For Me)’ where he received a standing ovation.

After that, he began opening for superstars like Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean on their respective tour.

And then finally in 2013 Luke Bryan announced his first headlining tour ‘Dirt Road Diaries’ where he was accompanied by Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line.

Currently, the singer  is on the second leg of his second headlining tour ‘That’s My Kinda Night.’

As you can see, Luke Bryan has become a mega superstar over the past 10 years, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t make time for his fans. Luke has also made it a point to host both his annual Farm Tour and a free Spring Break show in Panama City, Fl. every year for the past six years!  Both of these performances provide a much more intimate setting between Luke and his fans. Luckily this year I got to experience both of  these performances!

Typically around February Luke announces the dates for his two free Spring Break shows, hosted by Spinnaker’s Beach Club in Panama City, Fl. where huge speakers and giant catwalks are set up on the beach so that everyone inside the venue and on the beach can enjoy his performance. This year it just so happened that the day of his performance was also the same day his newest EP ‘Spring Break 6…Like We Ain’t Ever’ was released. So everyone in the audience got to experience the debut performance of one of the songs off the album ‘She Get Me High’ which was filmed and later shown on CMT and The Ellen DeGeneres Show!

Luke Bryan’s annual Farm Tour generally runs from late August to early September, and stops in eight different cities between Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. Dates for this upcoming Farm Tour should be released sometime in July, so be on the lookout for those! Tickets are generally around $35 (or at least they have been for the past two years that I’ve gone.) The Farm Tour features all general admission tickets, which provide fans with the opportunity to stand right by the stage (if you get there early enough.)  Last year my friends and I got close enough to the stage that Luke Bryan actually took my friend’s phone out of her hands and took a video of himself on stage!

Needless to say, both the Farm Tour and his Spring Break shows offer an unimaginable experience, so if you have the opportunity to attend any of the shows, I highly recommend you do so. You can find more information within the next few months on Luke Bryan’s website ( just click the ‘Farm Tour’ or ‘Spring Break’  link on the top right of the page!

It goes without saying, Luke Bryan has become one of country’s biggest (and sexiest) superstars and I don’t see him fading out of style anytime soon.

In fact, just yesterday Luke released his newest music video for the fifth single off his ‘Crash My Party’ album, ‘Roller Coaster’ which was filmed in Panama City and features Luke singing on the beach about details of a summer romance. I’m willing to bet this song makes it to number one on the charts as well, not just because he’s Luke Bryan, but because this song is the perfect addition to any summer playlist!

As I said earlier, Luke is currently on the second leg of his ‘That’s My Kinda Night’ tour so if you’re interested in seeing him perform live (trust me, you won’t regret it) you can find more information about tour dates on his website.
