Multi-platinum artists Lil Wayne and Drake are setting off on a co-headlining tour, and they’re coming to a city near you!

Drake broke through with his double-platinum hit “Best I Ever Had” and since then it’s been an uphill ride for the Canadian native. Sending out “Thank Me Later,” “Take Care,” and his most recent, “Nothing Was The Same”, he’s topped the Billboard charts with the most intriguing rap songs.

Lil Wayne, being partly responsible for Drizzy’s success, holds his own reign in the rap wold. Sugar coated sex-talk tracks like “Lollipop” ruled their own on the Billboard charts.

The street fighter-inspired tour poster was tweeted out June 12th by Drake reading only “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne.”

Weezy and Drizzy’s most recent collaborations include “Believe Me,” released on the OctobersVeryOwn Soundcloud and rumoured to be featured on Wayne’s supposed final album Carter V. Other collaborations include Drake’s “The Motto” responsible for reviving the “YOLO” craze in the mainstream world. We hope for performances of these tracks on tour along with “Love Me” or “Ransom.”

With tickets out on sale through Live Nation Friday, June 20th, they’re sure to sell out fast. Pre-sale will be held for Citi card members through the Citi’s Private Pass Program from June 17th-June 19th. Dates have only been released for US so far, as there’s no word of more dates being added. With Drake’s love for his home country, we have a feeling Canadian dates aren’t too far of a stretch, so stay tuned.

Tweet @weknowthedj and let us know which date you plan on attending! The WeKnowTheDj team is sure to be at a few of the shows.
