Lorde announces Australian tour

March 22, 2014

In support of her smash hit album “Pure Heroine”, Lorde will be heading down under in April and May as part of her current headlining tour. Performing 6 shows, the 17-year-old singer-songwriter will be traveling throughout Australia to give fans a coveted glimpse into her fittingly royal show.

“I’m so pumped,” The singer told Australian radio show¬†Triple J Breakfast. “I’ve only played the smaller clubs in Australia and the festival [circuit]. I’m ready to play my own shows in large venues.”

She describes her show as something fans won’t want to miss, “a killer light show” with some special surprises thrown in for good measure.¬†“It’s definitely a step up,” Lorde says. “We’ve really stepped up our production and light show; it’s a whole new thing now. I don’t want to give anything away but it’s pretty special.”

Sounds like an event fans of the famed Kiwi won’t want to miss.
