Eminem & Rihanna Join Forces For “The Monster Tour”

March 3, 2014

In an exclusive interview with XXL Magazine, Eminem broke exciting news for their March issue: Rihanna will be joining him on “The Monster Tour”, a three-city tour that will kick-off in August. “There are some shows coming up with Rihanna,” said the 41-year old rapper. He went on to explain that “The Monster Tour” will visit his hometown of Detroit (obviously), as well as LA and New York.

The specific dates have yet to be released. Please stand by.

In an interview with MTV News a few months ago, Eminem discussed his initial instinct to work with Rih Rih on “The Monster” record. “I thought it would be a good idea to have her on it because I think people look at us like we’re both a little nuts,” he said.

“I had to send it to her because schedules were conflicting and sh– like that. Plus, the record it was kinda pulled together at the last minute,” said The Real Slim Shady. “I sent it to her, she laid the hook, sent it back. She smashed it like she does always. it’s pretty incredible.”

We couldn’t agree more; the two artists obviously vibe together. For The Monster Tour, you can count on collab performances on hits such as “The Monster,” and “Love The Way You Lie.” It’s hard to say if songs like Rihanna’s “Numb,” which also features the rapper, will be added. Undoubtedly, each artist will have a solo segment of each show, and who knows — maybe they will cook-up some fresh new collaborations of existing songs for the three lucky audiences.
