Marlton NJ. native Christina Grimmie is taking the music scene by storm! Recently blowing away the judges on The Voice, this Youtube sensation has BIG things in her future.

Christina Grimmie, better known by her YouTube fans as Zeldaxlove64, showed an interest in music at a very young age. Singing at age five, and playing piano by age ten, her parents knew that she had something special. Although Grimmie took lessons, she often played by ear.

By age fifteen, Grimmie uploaded her first Youtube video. Covering artists’ such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Christina Aguilera she quickly drew in a large fan base. Wanting to evolve more as an artist, Grimmie began writing and singing her own songs on her YouTube channel. It was then, Grimmie made the decision to withdraw from her high school her junior year to be homeschooled and focus more on her music

By 2011, Grimmie independently released an EP entitled “Find Me”. After the release, she made the decision to move to Los Angeles. And this may have been the best move Grimmie could have made. In July of 2011, just one month after releasing her EP, Grimmie caught the eye of Selena Gomez. Opening for Selena on the “We Own the Night” tour, the 48 North American openings propelled her career.

With more recognition, Grimmie was honored at the 2011 American Music Awards as “New Media Honoree.” Following that she appeared at the 2011 Youth Rock Awards and won the award for “Rockin’ Indie Artist of the Year”, and at the 2012 Intense Radio’s Music Awards winning “Best Female Cover Artist”.

The year 2013 was strong for Grimmie. From releasing her second album “With Love” in August, to reuniting with friend Selena Goemz on the “Stars Dance” North American leg. I had the pleasure of attending the Stars Dance tour and seeing Christina Grimmie live, let me tell you the girl’s got some pipes on her. Performing hits from her first and second EPs, she showed a wide range of her vocal abilities.

More recently, Grimmie managed to WOW every judge on The Voice with a 4 – chair turn around covering Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” The YouTube clip drew millions of viewers in – all before the premiere of The Voice. Every judge wants Grimmie on their team, though we have yet to figure out who she ultimately goes with. Season six of the voice premieres Monday, February 24 at 8 EST so make sure to tune in to find out who she goes with!
