Pink and Nate Ruess “Try” to “Just Give Me A Reason”

January 28, 2014

With the competitive nature of today’s music industry, every situation is meant to be bigger and better than the previous. While Sunday night’s award show hosted the biggest and the best acts in music, each performer brought their own individuality to the stage—or in Pink’s case, above the stage.

Opening her performance with aerial dancing comparable to Cirque de Solei, Pink brought a different spin to Grammy performances—literally! Although this year’s performance of “Try” wasn’t the first time we’ve seen aerial dancing from Pink, we were quite impressed! The reappearance of in-air performing brought us back to an easier time in 2010 in her rendition of “Glitter in the Air.” I’m still in shock that she managed to sing while spinning upside down in the air; I’ve barely mastered texting and walking!

After making her way to solid ground, Pink participated in a dance-off with a guy who definitely doesn’t skip a day at the gym! After somehow managing to throw on a skirt, she was joined by Nate Ruess, fun.’s frontman to perform “Just Give Me a Reason.” The rendition of the No.1 track was ground-shaking and definitely demonstrated the duo’s true talents!

Were you impressed by Pink’s aerial performance? Is Nate Ruess’ mustache your new favorite facial hair? Send us a tweet at @weknowthedj and let us know!
