Ice Cube Announces 10th Solo Album!

January 7, 2014

A new year is equivalent to a fresh slate where you’re given the opportunity to shift your focus and decide which path you want to travel in life. After a January 3rd announcement, Ice Cube is doing just that. With already present popularity in the film industry, Ice Cube has plans to focus on rapping this year with a new solo album being released in May.

The rapper logged into his Twitter account on January 3rd and shared a message of, “EVERYTHANGS CORRUPT street date: May 13, 2014.” with his 1.4 million followers, generating hundreds of retweets and favorites. “EVERYTHANGS CORRUPT” may sound familiar to some of our readers as it shares a name with a single released by Ice Cube back in January 2013 alongside Tom Morello, the guitarist from Rage Against the Machine.

Having not released a full-length album since 2010, we’re anxious to hear what Ice Cube brings to the table this time around. We expected this album last fall but all masterpieces take time and effort, occasionally resulting in unforeseen setbacks. With an official date set, our calendars are marked and we’re excited to hear from Ice Cube on May 13th! Send us your thoughts on Ice Cube and EVERYTHANGS CORRUPT at @weknowthedj!
