He’s no stranger to the Saturday Night Live stage on which he never disappoints. Although this past weekend Jimmy Fallon was billed as the host and JT as the musical guest, this multi-talented duo proved the labels posed as no boundaries.

Justin was featured in nearly as many sketches as Fallon while the nights’ most memorable music moment was with Jimmy on vocals, ironically. They weren’t the only familiar celeb faces though! Madonna, Barry Gibb, Paul McCartney and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg even made an appearance.

Did you miss this comedy-packed night? No worries… here are the weknowthedj highlights!

Cold Open: There’s no keeping JT off the camera’s, because he doesn’t just show up to sing. He made an appearance as a role of wrapping paper alongside Jimmy Fallon, who was sporting a gift bag costume himself. In a medley between a Michael Jackson song performance and a Ludacris one, Jimmy chanted “Bring It On Down To Wrappinville.” A classic SNL opener.

Monologue: In a festive moment brought together by fake snow, Fallon takes the stage and calls on his bottomless talents as an impressionist to sing “Joy to the World.” Later on, Paul McCartney joins him on stage as the first of many celebrities to make their cameos that night. This monologue closes with a harmonious sing-along to “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”

Do It In My Bed: The scene goes from sweet to raunchy with all six SNL ladies posted on deck in their childhood bedrooms trying to have sex with their boyfriends. Nothing screams “awkward” more than stuffed animals, boy band posters and a twin bed… This sketch comes to a creepy (yet hilarious) close with actual childhood photos of the actors.

Baby It’s Cold Outside: In a cute duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” Fallon and Cecily sway from the original theme where in the end, instead of the man convincing the woman to stay, he brushes her right off. This makes for a few awkward moments and hilarious verses in the song.

Waking Up With Kimye: Their Kimye impersonations have become almost signature with any SNL performance, this time geared towards Yeezus and some concert promotions.

Barry Gibb: This was by far the best cameo of the night. The REAL Garry Gibbs joins Fallon and Timberlake on stage in matching suits to dance to “The Barry Gibb’s Talk Show” theme. This hilarious skit may have been an occasion for Gibbs to get a chest wax. How thoughtful.

It’s always a laugh when Fallon and JT collaborate, we’re left with nothing but uncontrollable laughter. Check out a few of our favourites below!

Aside from his comedic appearances, JT has had a 2013 all about music. His 20/20 Experience Tour continues through to 2014 so make sure to see if he’s coming to a city near you!
