Singer, songwriter and producer Bei Maejor is expanding his horizons in the music scene with a new name and a few friends joining him on Lolly, a track also featured on DJ Tay James’ “Weknowthedj Radio Volume 3.” Although, if you’re looking for Lolly on iTunes or YouTube, don’t type “Bei Maejor” into the search bar because Bei Maejor is now Maejor Ali. As Maejor changes his musical direction, the name change is the twenty-six year-old’s way of paying homage to boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Both Muhammad and Maejor Ali have a talent that others can’t compare to.

On this newly released track, Maejor Ali has asked worldwide superstar Justin Bieber and former Three 6 Mafia co-founder and member Juicy J to join him. After a creative conflict at his previous record lab, Maejor Ali has joined Carly Rae Jepsen and Madison Beer as Justin Bieber’s newest artist.

Maejor has released Lolly as the third official single off his much-anticipated debut album, expected later this year. Back in February, DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne at The Breakfast Club at Power 105.1 in New York City got the Maejor Ali exclusive and premiered Lolly on their morning radio show. Seven months later, the track is available for download on iTunes, the music video has arrived and we’re one step closer to receiving Maejor Ali’s new album.

The entire vibe surrounding Lolly is sexual, there’s no way around it. With a title like Lolly and a first verse about sexual acts, you know this is going to be a track that captures everyone’s attention and silences haters around the world. The sexual vibe doesn’t just stop after the beginning of the song; it stays for the track’s three-and-a-half minute duration. In the beginning verses, Maejor Ali sings “don’t stop in the lobby, I hope you massage me, I hope you can take it when I make you call me papi” So is this what a night after partying with Maejor Ali consists of? I bet there are thousands of girls all over the world right now that are willing to give Maejor Ali a massage. And for those of you that still haven’t caught onto the innuendos, I’m 100% positive that by “candy,” Maejor Ali isn’t talking about Starbursts or Sour Patch Kids.

Speaking of Sour Patch Kids, a majority of our readers know that they’re superstar Justin Bieber’s favorite candy. Bieber has recently turned nineteen and there’s no doubt that 2013 has been a whirlwind for the superstar. While he’s admitted to making some mistakes, he has owned up to them and is still learning from them. Life is about making mistakes, messing up and letting those experiences shape you into a better person. The Lolly collaboration has come at a perfect time, as Justin starts to shed his “teen heartthrob” image and turn into a respected adult artist. Justin has a more grown up and adult sound in Lolly but still remains classy and put-together.

Justin’s part in Lolly doesn’t sound like the same kid that was singing Baby just three short years ago. Bieber is constantly trying to show the world that he’s still a normal kid and by singing, “windows down, speakers loud, look down at my sneakers now,”…. well, we will leave that to your imagination (or “UrbanDictionary.com). The singer also raps, “meet me on the sixth floor, I know you ain’t a model, you should let me take some pics though,” which leads us to believe that he was at the same party as Maejor Ali! Beliebers all over the world have decided that Justin Bieber is the world’s biggest tease but between his verse on Lolly and his exclusive Weknowthedj tracks Wait For A Minute and The Intro, I can confirm that Justin’s new music is definitely worth the wait and the constant teasing!

Former Three 6 Mafia star Juicy J comes in at the last verse of Lolly showing us why he’s one of the most impressive rappers in the game. Juicy J is best known for being a member and co-founder of Three 6 Mafia, but more recently, he has become a solo act and a member of Wiz Khalifa’s  “Taylor Gang.” His newest single is Bandz A Make Her Dance which features 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. He takes on Lolly’s more explicit lyrics so it’ll probably be better if we don’t post all of them on here, hello young readers! But he does speak of losing underwear and throwing dollars in the air; he also raps, “got so much money in my pockets with a real bad chick from the tropics and a silicone rack,” and “pimpin’ hard I got purple on the plane, let’s call her boy, let’s run a train.” The song ends the same way it begins, letting all of us know that someone wants to make a lolly pop and kiss it’s top.

Now that we’ve covered what we had to cover surrounding the song, it’s time to move onto the next big thing: the Lolly music video! At noon EST on September 17th, Maejor Ali, Justin Bieber and Juicy J officially released the music video for the track and I can confirm that it was definitely worth the wait! Filmed a few weeks ago in California, the Lolly video includes a light show that compares to that of Bieber’s Believe Tour. Featuring male and female dancers of all ages (you might have seen some of them on stage with Justin!), the dancing is the main focus of everyone’s new favorite music video! With multiple outfit changes from all three artists and a nineteen-year-old that seems to have permanently lost his shirt, girls all over the world are freaking out! For those of you that haven’t seen the music video for Lolly yet, we’ve posted the video below so be sure to check that out!

If Lolly is any sort of indication of what’s to come from Maejor Ali’s debut album, Juicy J’s third album and Justin Bieber’s new sound, I can guarantee that the future is going to be an AMAZING in the music world! Beliebers, “soon” is no longer a bad word because new music is here and more is on its way!! Send us a tweet at @weknowthedj and let us know your thoughts on Lolly, the music video and all three artists. I can speak for everyone at Weknowthedj when I say that we all love the song and the video and we’re all looking forward to everything the future has to offer from these three!
