Eminem Is BACK With Berzerk Music Video

September 14, 2013

Guess who’s back, back again? Shady’s back, tell a friend!

For those of you who have missed Eminem, he has made an emphatic return to the hip hop world with the release of his newest single and music video “Berzerk”. ┬áThe video, which dropped this past Monday, is the ultimate throwback, ┬ácompletely wrapped around a 90’s theme. Slim Shady starts off carrying an old boom box, playing a tape entitled “Beats”, and when this backing track drops, Eminem completely goes IN on his verses, accompanied by producer Rick Rubin, both standing in front of a blown up boom box. The Detroit native that we all know and love was very clever with naming this track, because he completely goes berzerk in this video. He’s still got it. Ehh, he never lost it.

“Let’s take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch.” Berzerk is one of those tracks that is hip-hop but it’s not hip-hop, ya know? The backing track is more hard rock than it is dropped beats compared to rap tracks that you would usually hear on the radio.

Eminem has a fair share of cameos on “Berzerk”, as well. In addition to being accompanied by Rick Rubin, Kidd Rock and Kendrick Lamar also make appearances throughout the video rapping along to Eminem’s track as the star raps beside them.

One of my personal favorite lines in “Berzerk” is ‘Say f*ck it, before we hit the bucket”, because playing behind the video are various people having brutal fights (the stop sign to a wrestler’s head was my fave). There is obviously a “take no sh*t” attitude in this video and it is exemplified throughout, whether from Eminem himself or his surroundings.

Eminem’s music has that kind of power that will make you take your anger (whenever you have it), and force it all out when you smash this song. Seriously, “Berzerk” puts you into this zone, just like all of Eminem’s songs to be quite honest, and when the song finally ends, you’re actually tired because you have virtually no energy left. It’s that good.

As usual, you do not have to take my word for it. You should make your own opinion from this song and music video so we posted it below! But honestly, you’ll probably agree with me. This track is hot! Taking a three-year hiatus since “Love The Way You Lie” with Rihanna has taken absolutely zero from Slim Shady’s talent. He’s still as badass as he ever was. And there’s no doubt about it. Check it out!
