2008 Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton hit the recording studio again last week following his most recent split form girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger. The 28-year-old Brit (who currently drives for Mercedes AMG) has been tweeting some heart-felt words about the break-up over the past week: “If you’ve found that special some-one, don’t EVER let them go no matter what!!” followed by an instagram of him in the studio with the caption: “My hideaway, pouring my heart into this track!!”

He then went on to suggest that a song he has penned called All Good Tonight could be for Nicole, sharing a picture of himself playing guitar on Instagram and adding:

“All good tonight, you gonna love this one.”

It’s rumored the work commitments of the couple led to the break up, but as any musical artist will tell you, heartbreak can lead to some fantastic song-writing.

Last April Lewis was in the recording studio with Rodney Jerkins (the producer who has worked with Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue) and R&B artist Angel was there too, later revealing that the F1 ace’s talents would surprise people: “It’s weird to think of him as a singer but you know what he actually has straight vocals. I will be the first to tell you that he is driving this game! You know what he delivers vocals better than some artists.”

Lewis is undoubtedly a talented musician (check out the video of him playing guitar below):

A very affable (and certainly passionate) character in the F1 paddock, Lewis boasts an enormous army of dedicated fans across the globe who I’m sure would be only to happy to see him release music. After all, music is a great therapy for a broken heart, and a driver at the pinnacle of motorsport needs to have his mind firmly on the race so whether he decides to release these songs or not, I hope it brings him some peace.
