Parachute releases infectious new single “Can’t Help”

June 6, 2013

The latest single from rock band Parachute, “Can’t Help”, arrived on iTunes today – and we can’t help but keep it on repeat.  It’s a severely catchy track that incorporates an enticing tempo with an electronic flare – think The Script meets Maroon 5.  Singing “I can’t help myself / from falling in love, from falling in love with you / I can’t help myself / from taking the drug, from taking the drug / it’s you”, the single expresses the highly relatable feeling of becoming helplessly infatuated with someone.

Fans have been simply raving over the latest single – and rightfully so. It’s an infectious song that promises nothing but incredible things to come from the band.  “Can’t Help” is the latest single from Parachute’s highly anticipated third album, which, if the single is any indication, is only set to exceed all expectations and present fans with a delectable musical treat.

Parachute – comprised of members Will Anderson, Johnny Stubblefield, Alex Hargrave, Kit French, and Nate McFarland – last graced the music charts with their 2011 release The Way It Was, which served as the follow-up to debut record Losing Sleep in 2009.  As an avid fan of the band from the start, I can say with certainty that they’re a rare gem of a group, in that they continue to explore and outdo themselves with every record, all while maintaining impeccable songwriting talents and staying true to the essential sound that established them as a reputable band in the first place.  Their newest musical offering is solid evidence of that.

“Can’t Help” is now available for download on iTunes. Stay tuned for the latest on Parachute’s upcoming record!
