It’s safe to say that Apple has practically taken over the technological world in the past decade, especially through music. All around the world, iPhones, iPods and iPads are full of different music genres, most purchased on iTunes. Artists, to determine the success of their releases, usually monitor the iTunes charts. It’s clear that iTunes is our main outlet to the music world and the bridge needed to let an average person listen to what artists have worked on in the studio.

Summer might have just started but iTunes is getting ready for September, when over 60 acts will be performing at the Roundhouse in London for this year’s iTunes Festival. Today, Apple announced that Justin Timberlake, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jessie J and Jack Johnson are among those headlining the month-long festival. Last year, iTunes Festival viewers were treated to One Direction, Olly Murs, JLS, Ed Sheeran, The Killers and Muse. As the days pass, more performers will be added to this year’s extravaganza, so keep your eyes open and wait to see if your favorite will be performing!

Every night in September, music fans from all across the globe will be able to watch these incredible musical performances. Apple will have the performance on-demand on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, iTunes and Apple TV. If you live in the US, Australia, Brazil, Europe, Japan, Canada or Mexico, you can win tickets to the festival through local media. More information on that will be provided as the summer months wind down and September gets closer.

Apple’s senior VP of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue, said in a press release, “This year’s iTunes Festival is the best ever with an incredible lineup of global superstars and stellar emerging artists. We’re honored so many renowned artists are part of this year’s lineup.” Send us a tweet at @weknowthedj and let us know if you’re planning on watching the festival, either from London or on one of your Apple devices.
