Jay-Z and Drake spotted in the studio together!

May 30, 2013

Drake and Jay-Z have recently been spotted in the studio together! Producer Lenny Santiago posted a picture of the pair on instagram captioned: “Warning: Please be very afraid of the music we’re working on. OVO x ROCNATION.”

The first time these two collaborated was back in 2009 with a track titled “Off That,” produced by Timbaland and released on Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint III. Furthermore, the last time the pair appeared on a track together was on Drake’s album Thank Me Later when veteran Jay-Z offered some advice on “Light Up.”

It is uncertain where the track will end up, but it is know that Drake is set to release his third LP Nothing Was the Same later this year which provides a strong possibility that this collaboration will be out in no time.

Earlier in the week Santiago captured a picture of Jay-Z and Raekwon in the studio and wrote, “We workin on Real Rap sh– over here. JAY x RAE #RocNation #Wu.” Looks like Jay-Z may be working on his 12th studio album, giving another option as to where this track may end up.

If we weren’t already anxious to hear more details on new music from either of these too, the anticipation has only heightened after learning about their collaboration together.
