I wish I would have known about this festival in advance, because even as a Floridian, the 2013 Hangout Music Fest was the place to be last weekend. Located on the beach and containing not only a huge waterslide, but a Ferris wheel, the festival took place May 17-19 in Gulf Shores Alabama. Thousands attended to see their favorite artists and bands. From Stevie Wonder to Imagine Dragons, and Ellie Goulding to Grizzly Bear, the three day event featured something for everyone, including five music stages and a sixth stage for those with VIP tickets.
As far as performances went, it was very easy to see that all of the acts were having fun and really working off of the energy that the giant crowd was giving off, as well as relaxing a little with the beach vibe. Although the festival was loads of fun, there are always some health problems at huge music online casino canada scenes like this one. Gulfshores Fire and Rescue assisted 776 fans throughout the course of the three days, but only 10 were brought to the hospital, the festival also brought on arrests to 66 people! The beach used for the festival will finally be back open tomorrow. Check out the video of Macklemore, The Shins, Kendrick Lamar, and Imagine Dragons below. I must say Macklemore’s performance was my personal favorite; the hype he caters to so many people is just incredible.
