In March 2010, the mainstream media world was introduced to sixteen-year-old Ariana Grande on the Nickelodeon hit “Victorious,” which would run until February 2013. Time has passed and Ariana is getting ready to enter adulthood. Goodbye teenage years, hello twenties! The next decade of her life isn’t the only door being opened by Ms. Grande.  Although “Victorious” has ended, Ariana isn’t leaving Nickelodeon yet… Her newest TV show, “Sam & Cat” premieres on Saturday June 8th at 8pm EST! In Sam & Cat, Ariana’s Victorious character (Cat Valentine) teams up with iCarly jokester Jennette McCurdy (Sam Puckett). The show is guaranteed to be family-friendly and goofy so be sure to check that out in a couple of weeks. Although acting is an honest passion of Ariana’s, she’s dipping her toes into another area, where we’re sure she’ll shine bright.

With an upbeat single featuring Mac Miller, Ariana Grande proved to the world that talent runs in her veins. “The Way” is ridiculously catchy and the music video is one of the cutest to be released this year. If you’ve been living under a rock or something along those lines, we’ve posted the video below. “The Way” hit No. 10 on the Billboard Charts, which is a huge accomplishment for a debut single! The jam is simply a preview of what we can expect from the nineteen-year old later this summer. The Billboard Music Awards was the place for spilling all kinds of music news (by the way, be sure to read our article on the award show at http://weknowthedj.com/2013/05/the-highs-and-lows-of-the-2013-billboard-music-awards/). Ariana joined the news-sharing and released the name of her album and a possible release date… “Daydreamin’” is coming to us in late August, so get ready!!! Ariana announced Justin Bieber’s “Take You” at the Billboard Awards and while on the blue carpet, she hinted at a possible collaboration between the two, especially since they’re both under the same management. That’s right, Ariana Grande has joined artists like Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Cody Simpson, The Wanted, Psy, Madison Beer, Tori Kelly and more at SB Management. Ariana’s Billboard blue carpet interview is below, so check that out! Tweet us at @weknowthedj or comment below and let us know your thoughts on what to expect from Ariana!
