Jay-Z Announces Lineup for the Made in America Festival 2013

April 15, 2013

One of the world’s newest music festivals is about to get huge. Iconic rapper Jay-Z, who introduced the first annual Made in America Festival last year, is bringing the two-day jam back – and with a lineup that’s even bigger and better than before.

Headlining the festival is none other than Jay-Z’s wife and legendary musician, Beyonce (who wowed the world with her Super Bowl half-time show and proved that she still has what it takes to make a memorable and highly entertaining performance). Rock band marvels Nine Inch Nails will be joining Queen Bey as the main attraction, proving that this year’s romp will be one for the books.

Slated to perform are a number of similar incredible acts, including: Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons, Wiz Khalifa, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miguel, Queens of the Stone Age, Phoenix, Public Enemy, Nero, 2 Chainz, Emeli Sande, Walk the Moon, Gaslight Anthem, A$AP Rocky, Wolfgang Gartner, Porter Robinson, Feed Me, Solange, Haim, Jay Rock, Rudimental, and more.

With such a highly diverse array of artists lined up, Made in America 2013 is set to be an unbelievable experience with electrifying talent.

“The point of having that diversity in our music lineup, we’re trying to expose the people to different types of music,” Budweiser Vice President of Marketing Paul Chibe tells Billboard. “That eclectic mix creates an opportunity for us to really show the impact of music and culture.”

The Made in America Festival 2013 returns to Philadelphia this year, where fans will get the chance to witness the vibrant melting pot of music up close and personal at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The fest will take place Aug. 31st through Sept. 1st, and a presale is already underway. The general public will be allowed to purchase tickets starting Wednesday, April 17th. From last year’s success and the promise of this year’s lineup, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
