Eminem: New Album in 2013

February 19, 2013

Eminem fans will be pleased to hear that the rapper will be releasing his eight studio album this year. The 40-year-old Detroit rapper’s last studio album “Recovery” was released a little over two years ago in 2010 and it was the biggest-selling album that year, with more than 3.4 million copies sold. This will be his first release since his EP ‘Hell: The Sequel’ with Royce da 5’9′ back in 2011. In an interview with Billboard.com, Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg revealed that Eminem is “far into the process. . . he’s been working on it for some time” of putting out the untitled album which is rumored to be released at some point after Memorial Day which falls on Monday, May 27th this year. Rosenberg also added “We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”

It was back in October of 2012 that Eminem hinted he would be releasing an album the upcoming year in 2013. The Eminem Tribute Baseball Champ Hat has a series of dates listed: one for every solo album, the dates start with 1996 (“Infinite”) until 2010 (“Recovery”) and end with the added “2013” date.
