Coachella 2013: Bigger and Better Than Ever

January 30, 2013

Music fans everywhere have been rejoicing over this year’s highly anticipated Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival – an annual three-day music extravaganza that’s grown to be so popular, it takes place on two separate weekends. Showcasing the best in everything from rock, techno, indie, and more, Coachella is any music aficionado’s one stop gig to see some of the world’s most talented artists in an incredible flurry of festivities. Located in Indio, California in what is dubbed Coachella Valley, fans travel to Coachella from all over the United States every year to experience the sheer magnificence firsthand.

The festival is so red-hot that tickets for the first weekend of the festival have already sold out – and did so in fifteen minutes, no less. This may be due in part to the headliners of the festival, which include such musical powerhouses as Blur, Modest Mouse, Of Monsters and Men, Passion Pit, 2 Chainz, Janelle Monae, Two Door Cinema Club, La Roux, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Weekend 1 is set for April 12th-14th.

Slated for Weekend 2 are Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, Ben Howard, Pusha T, Phoenix, Dirtyphonics, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Lumineers, and Vampire Weekend, among many others. Tickets for the weekend, which will take place April 19th-21st are still available and can be found online.

With the delectable lineup that’s set to perform for this year’s festival, Coachella 2013 is bound to be bigger and better than ever before – and a completely unmissable event for any music fan.
