The Jonas Brothers are Back With New Music!

October 14, 2012

On Thursday October 11, 2012, the Jonas Brothers reunited at the iconic Radio City Music Hall to celebrate where they’ve already been and what the future has in store for them! They sang some true Jonas classics, but also gave fans a taste of what’s to come on their newest album.

The trio teased “Let’s Go,” a club-feeling, fast-paced song. “Give ‘em something to remember/ If you’re with me/ Let me know/ So let’s go.” This is definitely a song you’ll be hearing in the clubs in the near future; so start learning the best way to dance along!

Kevin, Joe and Nick also showed off a new song, “First Time,” which is about taking advantage of life and making those moments truly special. “First Time” has a quick tempo and even allows Kevin to get a quick singing solo.

Every Jonas fan knows that Nick opened his heart while singing “A Little Bit Longer,” a slow-paced and emotional song about his battle with Diabetes. But now the youngest in the trio is opening his heart again. But this time, it includes wedding bells? Wait… what?!

It’s okay, no need to freak out; the youngest of the Jonas trio isn’t walking down the aisle! Nick is opening up and talking about someone else who’s decided it’s time to wear that special white dress. One new track, titled “Wedding Bells” is where things get real and Nick starts sharing about a past relationship… Miley? I mean she is getting married, and the world knows that the two ex-Disney stars used to date. While talking about the new song, Nick said, “You have to dive into subjects that make us uncomfortable and write about them. You have to write a song and apologize for it later. I don’t think I’ve ever written a song that makes me as uncomfortable as this song does.” Here’s a preview of the slow jam; the chorus sings “I don’t want to love, if it’s not you/ I don’t want to hear the wedding bells bloom/ Maybe we can try one last time/ But I don’t want to hear the wedding bells chime.” I wonder what the future Mr. and Mrs. Hemsworth have to say about the song!

The three have been in the studio recording for the past six months and although future plans haven’t been announced yet, I can guarantee we’ll be hearing more from the Jonas Brothers relatively soon! Let us know below what you think of the new songs, a song about Miley, and the return of the Jonas Brothers!
