Don’t Panic! All Time Low is back to old roots

October 9, 2012

The wait is over for All Time Low fans’ anticipating the band’s fifth studio album, “Don’t Panic” was released today. The band is back with Hopeless Records and focused their new album somewhat on looking back and getting some inspiration from their past songs.
“This time around, rather than taking influence from anything we were listening to at the time-or anything we want to touch on generationally-the goal was to make an album that we felt reflected the best aspects of our previous releases,” Alex Gaskarth said in a press release.

If you’ve ever seen All Time Low in concert, you know that their energy is limitless. They are four crazy dudes that encourage crowd surfing and sing-a-longs to their most well-known songs. This new album fits that mold perfectly, and has a very upbeat feel. If looking for slow songs, this isn’t the album for you. The songs are all fast and feature only one outside song writer. Three guest vocalists sing on the album, including Ex Hey Monday front girl, Cassadee Pope who is a current contestant on NBC’s The Voice. Pope can be found on one of my favorites from the album, “Backseat Serenade.”

After chilling out for a couple months succeeding Warped Tour, the guys are back on the road with The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction, and Hit The Lights with a fall tour, at least 10 of the dates are already sold out so make sure you look at available tickets here:

Don’t Panic’s 12 track collection is currently the number three top album on iTunes, go get it!
