Miley’s back with her “biggest album” to date

September 27, 2012

She may be newly engaged and rocking an edgy new haircut, but that doesn’t mean that glamour princess Miley Cyrus has forgotten about her music. The nineteen-year-old superstar, who introduced Lil Wayne at the iHeart Radio Music Festival this past weekend in Las Vegas, has spent considerable time in the recording studios to compile tracks for what she says will be her “biggest album” yet.

Speaking with Billboard backstage at the iHeart festivities, she addressed the upcoming record, saying she’s “been writing…been in so many sessions, and really just hunkering down and working really hard and perfecting everything”. According to the starlet, she’s never had the opportunity to work on an album as extensively before, which is perhaps why this album is all she’s “really dedicated life to” in the past year.

The fierce songstress has teamed up with such music production powerhouses as Da Internz and Pharrell Williams, which practically guarantees a smash record.

Though fans are anxious for new Miley tunes to rock out to, it appears as if they will still have to wait a few months before new material is released. Cyrus is determined to make the record as perfect as possible, telling Billboard that “I want to make sure it’s exactly what I want first” before it gets released. Nonetheless, she revealed that a single should be released by the end of the year, followed by the full album, scheduled for a tentative drop in early 2013.
