Yes, it’s all true! The former Disney queen is back at it in the studio.

Lately, the LOL star has made headlines for the mere news of Miley walking her dog, changing up her hair color, or the latest gossip on her and her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. She has also been working on films set to be released this and next year.

Earlier this year, Miley Cyrus covered the beautiful Bob Dylan song “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go”. Following that, on July 4th, the singer-songwriter released the upbeat track called “Morning Sun”.

It is clear that Cyrus is going to do it big this time around with her next album. In June, she was already in Miami hitting up the studio with producer, singer, and rapper Pharrell Williams. A tweet from her was sent out saying, “@Pharrell “Ohhh!” studio wiffff Skateboard P” along with a picture of the two hanging out. Throughout the month, Cyrus and Williams replied and sent out tweets to each other, perhaps hinting some of the work they were doing.

“Pharrell said, ‘Don’t be offended because this is how I talk, but [I thought], that bitch is actually living. She’s not sitting there with her Momager’s chain on her door. I want to free that bitch. I want her out of her cage,'” the ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ singer quoted in the new issue of Marie Claire, in which Miley Cyrus is featured on the cover.

“I’d never worked like that before. I was talking to him like he was an older brother, and everything I said was going onto the track.” Sounds like we can expect something never before heard tracks from Cyrus.  She also added, “[I told my manager Bruce Flohr], ‘I don’t need the money. I don’t care if I make a dime on this. Let me make a good record’. I got in there with Pharrell, and it was magic. Oh, dude, I’m so happy.”

Miley Cyrus is additionally working with the likes of Californian producer Hit-Boy.

I think it’s fair to say this album will be highly anticipated. Wouldn’t you agree?

You can listen to “Morning Sun” below.
