Guess who’s back, back again, Shady’s back, tell a friend…more like tell everyone you know!
Just a week after it was announced that Eminem was the first to reach 60 million Likes on Facebook, Eminem confirmed to MTV news that he started working on his 7th major solo album. Eminem’s last album, “Recovery” was released in 2010 and was the year’s best selling album. The album chronicled Eminem’s addiction and fight for sobriety.
On Thursday, Eminem performed at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York at an event for G-Shock. He thanked the fans during the show for helping him through the tough times and that he “wouldn’t have gotten out of that dark place without y’all.” He then proceeded to perform his Grammy-winning song “Not Afraid.”
Check out the video of Eminem thanking his fans:
He had been sneaking to work on his own songs here and there while also busy working on his super-group Slaughterhouse’s album. Now that Slaughterhouse’s album, “Welcome to: Our House” is being released on August 28, Marshall Mathers has time to start working on his own album. While there are very few details about the album, fans can rejoice that the Slim Shady is back.
Are you excited for Eminem’s next album?
