The Return of No Doubt

July 24, 2012

No Doubt is back, and ready to start a whole new chapter in their careers.

With a brand new album out, Push and Shove, the band has a lot to catch up to, since this is their first album they’ve written in eleven years. Push and Shove will be released on September 25th, 2012. 2.8 million copies of No Doubts “Rock Steady” were sold during its release in 2001. We’ll just have to wait to see how their newest album will do, 11 years later.

Lead Singer, Gwen Stefani, is a mother to two boys, Kingston and Zuma. Being a part time mom isn’t stopping her from releasing new music, and kick starting to continue a career.

Ten years later, No Doubts newest single, Settle Down, was performed on July 22nd at the Teen Choice Awards for the first time, ever. It seems like nothing has changed for them, as they still killed the performance, leaving the audience wanting more.

Settle Down totally has a Gwen Stefani sound to it, if you know what I mean. Not too upbeat and crazy, but perfect enough to show off her amazing vocal range. Since the bands return, they are doing interview after interview, doing their best to promote their new single, and also getting the fans pumped for the album.

We can only hope that there will be a tour coming up early next year, after the album is released!
