Justin Bieber Puts Rappers on Notice – “Otis” (Freestyle)

November 2, 2011

Run up on my enemies, see if they remember me/Soon as they remember me, I wipe away they memory

Remember when The Biebs first started putting out freestyles? Back then his dive into the rap game was taken very lightly. But now, can you honestly say after watching this video that lil’ buddy doesn’t have a fighter’s chance at being taken seriously? Well, even if that’s farther than you’re willing to go; its undeniable that his flow and wordplay have grown since his first public Hip-Hop offerings.

While in L.A. for several appearances including a performance on Dancing With the Stars, the pop star made a visit by Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Power 106 FM. It’s safe to say the hosts and listeners were impressed with The Biebs strong showing. Granted this isn’t a true freestyle, but who really does those these days?

Bieber will without a doubt always be known for his youthful Pop hits like “Baby,” “One Time,” & “Never Say Never.” However, with enough practice and dedication to advancing his rapping skills, who’s to say he won’t change his name to Just Flow and be headlining sold out shows with Wiz, Big Sean, or maybe even Kanye by this time next year? Chris Brown’s dual singer/rapper life is becoming more accepted by the day. And maybe I’m getting ahead of myself but Bieber said it best, “Never Say Never.” Stay tuned from more behind the scenes exclusives from DJ Tay James in regards to Just Flow Bieber’s budding rap career.
