The Dream Delivers Free Album – “1977”

August 31, 2011

Just when hump day was starting to get you down as you yearn for the long holiday weekend to begin, The Dream comes through in the clutch. Close to a month ago The Dream (Terius Nash in this case) announced he would release a free album. But since we live in a world where music deadlines come & go like days on the calendar many were skeptical if Nash would follow through. But he’s proved the naysayers and the detractors like Def Jam wrong in actually keeping his word.

The Radio Killa brings us an 11 piece offering in the form of 1977. The title which references his birth year falls in line with the fact that he officially released the album for the free under his given name, Terius Nash. Its been over a year since The Dream’s last album Love King came out; an album that didn’t receive the same commercially warm welcome as his previous works. So The Dream fans need this free sample to get their mouth’s watering for the full course still to come in the form of his next “official” studio release titled, The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman.

According to The Dream’s twitter page, he even bought out Victoria’s Secret and some Ipods to giveaway for the release of the album. Damn, it looks like Terius is in a giving mood all the way around today. Hit the download link below for your freebie.
